Southern Pacific Railroad Roundhouse

The Southern Pacific Railroad roundhouse was built in Brisbane in 1910 and is the last surviving mainline roundhouse in California. Although heavily damaged by arson and neglect, I wrote the nomination and worked with a local non-profit to get the roundhouse listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The listing gives it added protection as the area is being redeveloped.
